Washington OWNS Boston. Least shocking thing.
True. 3-1 series last season.

Hence my prediction.

I rule.

Well, I gotta hand it to you on the Habs' pick. I like the Toronto team more than the Montreal one (in terms of roster competency), but the Habs squeaked it out.

2 for 2 so far tonight. Good odds on both as well.

Ha! Anyone see the new commercial on Versus/atdhe about the upcoming season?

I still dislike Crosby, but that was pretty awesome. Tonights 3 Picks - Page 2 668437

Montreal at Toronto

Home openers are tough but I like Montreal coming in and stealing The Leafs thunder.

Take The Habs by 1 as the slight underdog at 1.85.

Washington has always lit up Tim Thomas and are coming in with a ton of confidence from last years playoffs while Boston was a bit dissapointed and lost Kessel. I think Washington takes this one pretty easily tonight.

Take Washington plus 2 goals over Boston at 2.70 with the over.

Finally San Jose at Colorado. San Jose is the easy favorite here but dont be so quick to jump on their band wagon. They are retiring Sakic's number tonight and The Sharks could end up be slugish because of this while Colordado has a lot of motivation. Upset of the night, Colorado over San Jose.

Take Colorado by 1 at 2.30

What's your call re: Flames vs Canucks?

Duchene's such an awesome skater.

Pissed that I didn't get to see the Sakic number retirement. Hopefully it gets up on Youtube soon.

Just sucks they have to play 57 more mins. I wanted to mention that Anderson is also the most under rated goaltender in the league and can steal a game if need be. They just mentioned it on VS.

Ex-67 Jamie McGinn in the line-up for the Sharks, wearing #64.

He was a terrific player for Ottawa.

Pavelski is so good. That's their best line right there.

Just realized - the captains tonight are Adam Foote and Rob Blake.

Some bragging rights between old linemates there.

Boyle puts it off the post.

Yeah, Pavelski is pretty terrific. It sucks to think that had the Heatley request not gone public, he'd probably be an Ottawa Senator along with Michalek right now.

But, ever onwards and upwards.

Demers is in the line-up as well. The Sharks are like a 67s re-union.
