The Turkey calls the HOF committees decision to induct him as an Expo "gut-wrenching".

Guess who's on SSFs shatlist now?

Gut wrenching? I'll punch this tool straight in the heart and see if it wrenches his gut. What a Diddler?

No need, I'll wax him with a nice shot to the heart.

Dammit, that's very frustrating. Back in the day I had shirts of the Hawk, I had a glove that was his brand, I had a helmet with his name on it. Diddle you Donkey Chapeau, go the HOF under the Cubs. It's a REAL shot in the face for former Expos fans, but hey, you're the man, do what you want. Expos Fans Kicked in the Teeth, Again or How The Hawk Turned Into a Turkey Icon_rolleyes

Boo. I used to like you, but I always had this feeling you were a little short on IQ points. If it wasn't for the Expos he would not be in the HOF.

what a Wing Dang Doodle. I think Gary Carter did the same thing, but not as idiotic as Dawson. He wanted to go in as a met, but didn't say stupid Dung like "it's gutwrenching".

Again, what a Wing Dang Doodle

The same argument applies to the Cubs.

Still, I agree he should go in as an Expo.

Feeling a little nostalgic. Can you name these Expos (should be *real* easy)?

I could give you the third guy's jersey number, but that would give it away. Here's a hint. Three-days' rest on Monday.

I met "The Rock" in the airport at Dorval once. I was working the summer as a shuttler for Avis and he was returning a car. I asked for an autograph (only time in my life I ever asked for one), but I didn't have a pen or a piece of paper. So Raines looks around in his bag, takes out a batting glove and signs it on the thumb.

It was cool for a while, but, really, since I never collected autographs I had no use for it. So I gave it to my sister and she passed it along to a kid she used to babysit who was turning 12 or something. The kid must have been in heaven.

Just saw a tweet that Pascual Perez passed away. He was 55. Never forget his reactions to getting an out (kind of like a double fist-pump) or how he always jumped over the foul line on the way to and from the mound. He was a character.
