Baseball great Roger Clemens pleaded not guilty to six perjury-related charges Monday in a Washington, D.C. courtroom.

Clemens entered the plea during his arraignment on charges that he lied to Congress during a 2008 hearing on the use of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball.

The seven-time Cy Young Award winner was charged with three counts of making false statements, two counts of perjury and one count of obstruction of Congress. He faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine, although it's expected he would receive a sentence of no more than 15-21 months if convicted.

Jury selection is scheduled for Apr. 5, 2011.

During the hearing in 2008, Clemens testified under oath he had never used steroids or human growth hormone. The FBI started investigating Clemens for perjury soon after he testified before the congressional panel and the 48-year-old Texan was indicted Aug. 19

So, are there going to be even more charges for him now for lying about not lying? Roger Clemens Pleads NOT GUILTY to Lying... 159628 Roger Clemens Pleads NOT GUILTY to Lying... 489887

Yeah, he's making it worse on himself. He's guilty, his best friend Andy Pettite testified that he and Clemens took the Dung, it's time to fess up and spend the next 15 months or so in a low security prison. Enough is enough Roger, we all know you lied under oath, you're guilty.

Cuss that Dung. Why is the US Congress investigating steroid use in baseball in the first place? It's just proven to be a witch hunt considering the rampant use of steroids across every single major sports league. What a waste of time this Dung is.
