It's from the show "Community".
Looks like a rip-off of: http://twitter.com/Dung

Not a rip off at all. These are competing shows. Dan Harmon is a veteran of twitter-battles. Last season some idiot with a twitter account crapped all over "Community", saying that shows like "Modern Family" were "streets ahead" of it. A few weeks later you have Pierce (Chevy Chase character) using the term "streets ahead" and being generally ridiculed for it.

Like Chaucer said (well, the "Hollywood" version, at least) -- I'll eviscerate you in fiction. Every pimple, every character flaw.

Community actually makes fun of that at the end though. The old guy says that they should cash in on the oldwhitemansays twitter account by making a tv show. Then everyone scoffs at the idea and you hear one guy say "who would watch that?". And they segue into the next line by saying "speaking of bad development strategy..."

That was my whole point -- they are not ripping it off but ripping on it. "Community" does a ton of pop-culture references.

By the way, Shabbs, are you implying you're *older*? I don't think so.

Wow, Harding's season is done, Minnesota is rumoured to be close to signing Theodore.

I don't buy it, Khudobin is ready for 12-15 games at the NHL level.

Yeah, I would have thought so too. Mind you, it's just a rumour, nothing to it yet.

I think it's just people speculating who don't know the Minnesota depth chart and assuming that Theodore would be a good fit. I don't think going to a team with an established #1 goalie is in his plans when he could just wait for an injury to hit and fight for #1 icetime.

That's my thinking as well. I don't see a fit with Theodore and Minnesota.

Actually, even if it was Backstrom that got injured, I wouldn't have seen a fit for Theodore as Harding and Khudobin could do the job and still Minnesota wouldn't be hurt in any way.

They're rebuilding and most likely shooting for a lottery pick...Theodore fits that plan perfectly. Sarcasm

Wow, six months! Internal, or Souray or Redden?

Samsonov released from hospital after Byfuglien hit him into the boards head first.

It won't be Redden. Does Souray only have a year left? If so he could fit.

For some reason I'm thinking lower key guy, like Barrett Jackman or someone along those lines.

HUGE loss though, this guy is the most underrated puckmover in the league.

Oh yeah, Streit's a great player.
